We here at Prima Luce Studio are here for one simple purpose:
to capture the essence of your most meaningful moments in photographs.
We share a belief that your wedding day is a day that should be treasured and cherished, and that it is our duty to provide you with images that will evoke the feeling of your special day even decades later. Our greatest dream is that you will pull these images out to share with your loved ones and immediately be reminded of the feeling of that day.
In order to do this, we first focus on getting to know our clients, both as individuals and as a couple. This enables us to then focus on telling each couple’s unique story, and to focus on the moments that most illustrate who they are. We believe that by telling your story in the most honest and accurate way possible, you will be left with images that warm your heart.
Prima Luce Studio was founded by two friends Bill Reeves and Mary Kang, former communication students whose passion for photography and visual storytelling eventually overpowered their initial academic pursuits. Bill and Mary have accumulated an impressive list of awards and publications including: CNN Photos, The Fader, Japan Times, PDN Faces – Celebrity/Editorial division – Finalist, Eddie Adams Workshop (Barnstorm XXI) Alumni, Columbia University Gold Circle Press Award, Liz Carpenter Award winner, Magnum Education – Oslo Alumni, and the Scott Lind Award winner. Further, Bill has photos in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts – Houston, the Worcester Art Museum, and the Harry Ransom Center. Their work has been exhibited everywhere from Austin to Oslo, Norway and Tokyo, Japan.
Prima Luce Studio is available for assignment work both in the United States and internationally. Our diverse skill set allows us to handle any type of assignment, from lifestyle and portraiture to weddings and engagements. Regardless of your location, Bill and Mary are committed to providing you with the highest quality service leading up to, during, and after your shoot.
