We got into wedding photography because we truly feel that two people falling in love with each other and choosing to spend the rest of their lives together should be cherished and celebrated. It gives us a tremendous feeling of joy and pride to be able to share in each of our couple’s special days. Anna and Aaron are our latest couple, and they have the additional distinction of being close friends as well as clients.
They chose Barr Mansion as the place to say their “I do’s”, and it proved to be the setting for a perfect wedding celebration. Both the bride and groom showed up mostly ready, and only needing to put the final touches on their look for the day. Aaron and his friends relaxed with his famous Apple Pie Whiskey while Anna put on her dress and readied for her trip down the aisle!
Those who know Anna and Aaron will tell you that this couple is one of the most laid back, yet fun loving pairs you will ever meet, and their wedding reflected that. Their ceremony was brief, yet filled with love and laughter, and even a few tears! That said, they were both able to make it through their vows and were promptly pronounced husband and wife. With their love announced to all, it was time for the reception, and let us tell you, these two know how to make an eventful evening.
The couple entered to rousing cheers, and immediately shared their first dance together. An amazing dinner courtesy of Barr Mansion was then served and the party was on! Plenty of amazing drinks (including the soon to be infamous Apple Pie Whiskey), a photo booth, and of course loving friends and family made for tons of laughter, smiles, and warm feelings. When in need of a something delectable, those in attendance were treated to two cakes as well as an assortment of cookies courtesy of the Bride (Better known as “Snookies Cookies!”)When not dancing to the beats of Donte Shepard, the guests got into costume and hit the photo booth. An impromptu jam session in the main house had to be heard to be believed, and a dance battle between two guests put a fitting cap on the festivities. The guests then all lined up to say congratulations one last time as they sent the new couple off with sparklers and a vintage Rolls Royce.
Anna and Aaron delivered on everything we hope for out of a wedding. Lots of smiles, laughs, and of course love.
Special thanks to all of the vendors who made this day so amazing!
