Kelsey + Trey | Easy Tiger | Austin, TX
What do you get when you combine a bread bakery, a bar, ping pong tables, a river, and one of the most playful couples you will ever encounter? Why you get Kelsey and Trey's wedding of course!
Kelsey and Trey have the distinct honor of being the first couple ever to marry at Easy Tiger on Austin's historic 6th Street. If you've never been, Easy Tiger is a fantastic mix of homemade bread upstairs, a bar downstairs, and ping pong tables outside. It could not have been a more perfect venue for this couple either!
While Trey prepped at Easy Tiger, Kelsey got ready with family at the legendary Driskill Hotel. Neither showed even an ounce of nerves as both were more than ready to tie the knot! So, Kelsey made the short walk to Easy Tiger to her awaiting groom.
The ceremony itself was energetic, yet sweet and intimate. The couple had the crowd perform a "warming of the rings" ceremony (where the rings are passed amongst the guests) prior to saying their I do's.
Having been formally introduced as husband and wife, the newlyweds scrapped a first dance in exchange for a first game of ping pong, which the groom won despite a rousing comeback by Kelsey. They then surprised their guests by holding an open challenge to any pair of guests who wanted to take them on. The highlight of the matches easily had to be Grandma and Grandpa schooling the young couple on how ping pong is played!
The rest of the afternoon was a laid back party filled with ping pong, giant Jenga games, and a confetti filled exit that downtown Austin will not soon forget :)
Trey and Kelsey were such gracious hosts, and were so much fun to photograph. We know they are at the beginning of a long and happy marriage and we wish them all the best.
Congrats Trey and Kelsey!
