We unfortunately did not get to meet Rachel and Andy in person until the day of their wedding. We say unfortunately because they are two incredibly kind people who are a blast to be around! We sincerely wish we could have met them sooner, but look forward to counting them among our friends from now on.
For their wedding, Rachel and Andy decided to have the ceremony in her childhood church, University Presbyterian Church in Austin, TX. University Presbyterian is a beautiful church with some of the most amazing architecture you will find. Park Crest Floral provided gorgeous bouquets for the bridal party while Enchanted Florists added lovely flowers throughout to make it the perfect location to say I do.
After a sweet and touching ceremony, Rachel, Andy and their guests moved on to the Allan House for the reception. And what a reception it was! Guests arrived to the sounds of the Royal Dukes Band, which had the dance floor full all night with a mix of tunes that ranged from old Jazz standards to Daft Punk!
Guests then took a break from the festivities to enjoy a scrumptious meal catered by Whole Foods before enjoying some of the tastiest cake these photographers have ever had. Erin's Custom Cakes provided both the Bride and Groom's cakes, and they could not have tasted better.
With everyone full from the delicious meal and dessert, it was back to the dance floor as Rachel and Andy took the floor for their first dance as man and wife. They are so clearly in love, and the cute factor of them as a couple is off the charts! Rachel then took a turn on the dance floor with her father before inviting the guests up for more dancing.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing and good times. Kids ran around playing while the adults laughed and shared great memories. Rachel and Andy have a great group of family and friends, and all in attendance made sure to make the night lively and fun. It truly was special to be a part of a group of people that so clearly love each other and share their affection so easily. Rachel and Andy are clearly in good hands with this group!
We truly had so much fun with these two, and very much hope they make it to Austin often for visits. Congrats Rachel and Andy!
